Tunduba Bay, where the centre is located, is a paradise for snorkellers. Its house reef, one of the best preserved house reefs of the south, offers the possibility of snorkelling along a 2km stretch protected from waves and currents. Terrific variety of underwater life from corals to fish. |
The ultimate snorkelling trip is no doubt a visit to Samadaï Lagon, called Dolphin House, just a short boat ride from our own beach. There you can experience a unique adventure swimming with a big family of Spinner dolphins. The reef has been declared a National Park to protect it against over exploitation. |
Snorkellers may join one of the diving boats, be it the speedboats or the daily boats. However, they will have to follow the divers’ time table. You can rent snorkelling equipment at the diving centre, and that includes mask, snorkel, fins, long suits or shorties, and of course a life jacket.
You can either reserve your snorkelling trips prior to your arrival or you can reserve it on site at the diving centre, you will be asked to sign a form attesting you are fit to swim.
