The PADI Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification, which is perfect for people on holiday or who only plan to dive a couple times a year. It can be completed in as little as two days. The PADI Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily. With the PADI Scuba Diver certification, you can dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher professional on your next holiday or dive trip. This program is a wonderful opportunity to explore the underwater world in comfort and safety, knowing you have an experienced guide with you at all times. The knowledge and skills you learn in this program are just the beginning of an exciting array of courses and programs that await you. The PADI Open water course is a four day course. Throughout the course you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and diving techniques. You earn this certification by completing five confined water dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives from the shore on the beautiful Red Sea Reefs. After completion you will be free to dive anywhere in the world along with your buddy! |

Day 1: | Theory, knowledge reviews and 10 minute tread water & 200 metre swim test. |

Open Water Course Referral |
To accommodate those who wish to do part of the course at home and part here, the PADI Open Water course can be done in two parts. Part 1 with your local PADI Dive Club will cover all the academics, pool sessions and examinations, usually undertaken over evenings and weekends within 6 months of your vacation; but preferably just before. This leaves only the 4 open water dives that are completed on this referral course in the comfort and splendour of the warmth and clarity of the Red Sea. This is considered by many as preferable to the cold quarries and seas available in their homelands. |

This course enables a PADI Scuba Diver certified diver to upgrade his/her rating to PADI Open Water Level. The course is a mixture of academics, confined water and open water sessions and is completed in just 2 days. As a PADI Open Water Certified diver you can then enjoy buddy diving without being accompanied by a PADI professional and undertake dives to a depth of 18 metres with the required training and safety procedures. |
